VESTAMATIC in Scandinavia
From January 2011 VESTAMATIC GmbH will be locally represented on the Scandinavian market through
its new subsidiary VESTAMATIC SCANDINAVIA AB in Lerum, Sweden. This is in line with our strategy to ensure a better, easier and faster support and sales to our Scandinavian customers.
The Manager position for VESTAMATIC SCANDINAVIA AB will be shouldered by the 40-year old Swede Mattias Klasson, who is a well known name in the business since many years. Mr. Klasson comes from the Somfy Group, where he worked for over 10 years as development manager for controls. Before that
Mr. Klasson ran Galax System in Scandinavia in the same field of business – where one of the partners was VESTAMATIC.
Mr. Thorsten Breithor, the General Manager of VESTAMATIC GmbH, will be further involved in managing customer relationships in the Scandinavian market.
Mr. Klasson will also be deeply involved in VESTAMATIC’s future product development on an international basis, and will always operate close to the manufacturing site of VESTAMATIC in Germany.
VESTAMATIC in short
Family owned VESTAMATIC, based in Mönchengladbach in Germany, has since more then 30 years been
a well established company in controls, 24V motors and electronics for solar shading devices. The main market is Europe, but VESTAMATIC is also active in both the U.S.
and Asia.
VESTAMATIC is a relatively small company in the business area. The size is also one of the strengths;
we work closely to the market, have short decision making routes and can therefore quickly provide high quality, well designed and cost effective products requested by our customers.
A specific advantage is that we have all the knowledge under one roof (22.000 m2); sales, support, warehouse, development, administration, logistics, and especially the electronics production.
The latter is somewhat unique and gives us great room for reactivity and cost effectiveness.
